After a day of generating ideas and tactics at the seminar, the network has achieved ideal results in terms of the network’s vision, values, and mission. Participants will share knowledge on good practice models and participate to the creation and implementation process, with the goal of developing a network of partners to lead, accompany, and collaborate responsibly to eliminate plastic waste and increase the voices of all parties in order to create a better living environment and a green future for Vietnam.
During the first three years, the participating units and organizations acknowledged the strengths, possibilities, problems, and difficulties of each person as well as the network as a whole. Since then, the workshop has established and developed a network-wide strategic planning framework. At the end of the workshop, it was clear that the participating units and organizations were looking forward to the network’s next activities. Furthermore, the network’s participants want the network to grow slowly but steadily, creating a knowledge-hub (knowledge center) and contributing to the reduction of plastic waste in Vietnam.
