GreenHub is delighted to announce the results of our poster design contest “Let the river breathe”. We extend our sincere gratitude to all participants for their enthusiasm and dedication. It is an honor to hear about their creative perspectives on how to protect our rivers and oceans from waste, especially plastic waste. GreenHub hopes the contest contributes to making changes in waste management behavior among communities, especially those living along rivers.
After more than one month of launching the contest, GreenHub is delighted to receive nearly 90 applications with various creative forms, ideas and participating ages. In the second round, 60 selected posters were announced through the Project’s Fanpage. We also called on online netizens to vote for their favorite posters, and the voting process ended at 12 a.m on May 11th.
Our panel of judges were Mrs. Nguyen Thi Dong – Editor of the General Education Program in Fine Arts; Mr. Le Duc Tung – Lecturer in Graphic Design Department, National University of Arts Education; and Ms. Trinh Nguyen – GreenHub Communications Coordinator. After careful evaluation by our panel of judges, we are pleased to present the winners of the contest:
· 01 Blue Ocean Prize: Nguyen Thi Duong Anh (Ho Chi Minh City)
· 01 Green River Prize: Lai Thi Huong Ly (Hanoi)
· 02 Small Stream Prizes: Duong Thi Anh Thu and Cao Thao Vy (Hanoi)
· 04 Glistening water drops Prizes: Photographer Nguyen Manh Cuong (HCMC), Do Chi Minh (HN), Nguyen Thanh Binh and a group of students Nam Anh, Thai Son, Anh Trung, Viet Khanh (3rd grade student at Hanoi Westminster School).
