The journey of Plastic Talk – When Plastic speaks up 2021

This morning, November 6, 2021, the awarding ceremony of the contest “Plastic Talk” was officially organized by the Vietnam Foundation for Centre for Supporting Green Development (GreenHub) with the companionship of Green Eyes – Youth for the Environment. 

At the Awards Ceremony, the Organizing Committee announced and awarded prizes for the 10 best products in 3 contest categories (additional 01 third prize in Short Film, Reportage, Motion Graphics). At the same time, the Organizing Committee also awarded 01 most popular award voted by the community. These are unique products that meet the contest’s criteria, such as creativity, aesthetics, product content, the form of expression, meaningful message, pervasiveness, etc.

We appreciate the contest’s sponsors, which include the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), North Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (BAC A BANK), and 07 other businesses in the field. Tetra Pak Vietnam Joint Stock Company, Progressive Industrial Cooperative, Bluestar Vietnam Production & Investment Joint Stock Company, SIM Joint Stock Company Vietnam, Duc Anh Co., Ltd., Dao Nguyen Plastics Co., Ltd., Srithai Hanoi Co., Ltd.

We also express our gratitude to the 06 members of the invigilate. They gave the fairest evaluations of the contestants’ products and contributed to the improvement of the ideas. We applaud the contestants who participated in the contest with all of their hearts and energy. Of course, we’d want to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has followed and supported the contest over the last three months.

The “Youth with decreasing plastic waste” seminar was also organized within the program context to allow young people to engage and discuss ideas on plastic waste with professionals and guests at the workshop. 

According to the plan, the winning goods will be utilized in non-profit communication initiatives about environmental protection and sustainable development.
